She also appeared in 2000's "Vertical Limit", 2002's "Reign Of Fire" and 2004's "Exorcist: The Beginning." Prior to Hollywood stardom, Izabella had a successful modeling/acting/singing career in Europe. Izabella Scorupco was born on June 4, 1970 in Bialystock, Poland, a town bordering Russia. Her mother, Magdalena, was a doctor and father was a musician. When Izabella was eight years old her parents divorced and she moved to Sweden with her mother. During childhood, she engaged in drama and music classes. By age 17, Izabella was discovered by a Swedish film director, and after her first movie called "Ingen kan älska som vi", she became a teenage idol. In 1989 Izabella released the music single "Substitute". It became quite a success and sold gold in Sweden. So did the album released shortly after, called "Iza". The music was inspired by the captivating disco sound of the 1970’s. The hit album had a follow-up in 1991 when Izabella recorded the single "Shame, Shame, Shame". In 1995, Izabella made her Hollywood debut as a bond girl in Martin Campbell's movie "Goldeneye." She took the role of "Natalya Simonova", a beautiful and intelligent Russian computer specialist who helps James Bond to prevail against the Russian adversaries. In 1996, Izabella married NHL hockey player Mariusz Czerkawski and had a daughter, Julia, in 1997. In January 1999 Izabella was chosen to be the spokesperson for the well-known cosmetics company Oriflame. She gives professional beauty advice through different advertising campaigns, and she also takes active part in Oriflame’s charity fund-raising efforts. "Izabella combines beauty and brains in a down to earth way. Unspoiled by her success as an actress and model she fits perfectly as our spokeswoman," says Oriflame Marketing Director Nigel P. Mould. In 2003, Izabella married American boyfriend Jeffrey Raymond, and gave birth to son Jacob Martin. Currently, she resides mostly in Europe, but occasionally visits California, U.S.A.
